باب في النَّهْيِ أَنْ يُسَمَّى الْعِنَبُ الْكَرْمَ:
Chapter: Prohibition of Calling Grapes“Karm”
Hadith Number: 2151
حدثنا عثمان بن عمر، اخبرنا شعبة، عن سماك، عن علقمة بن وائل، عن ابيه، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: "لا تقولوا: الكرم، وقولوا: العنب او الحبلة".
Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not call grapes 'Karam', rather call them 'Inab' or 'Habla'."
