باب بِنَاءِ الرَّجُلِ بِأَهْلِهِ في شَوَّالٍ:
Chapter: Consummating Marriage in Shawwal
Hadith Number: 2248
اخبرنا عبيد الله بن موسى، عن سفيان، عن إسماعيل بن امية، عن عبد الله بن عروة، عن عروة، عن عائشة، قالت: "تزوجني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في شوال، وادخلت عليه في شوال، فاي نسائه كان احظى عنده مني؟"قالت:"وكانت تستحب ان تدخل على النساء في شوال".
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married me in Shawwal and consummated the marriage with me in Shawwal. So which of his wives was more fortunate with him than I? And Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) liked that the women among her relatives should be married off in Shawwal.
