كِتَاب تَفْسِيرِ الْقُرْآنِ
The Book of Commentary
بَابُ قَوْلِهِ: {وَرَاوَدَتْهُ الَّتِي هُوَ فِي بَيْتِهَا عَنْ نَفْسِهِ وَغَلَّقَتِ الأَبْوَابَ وَقَالَتْ هَيْتَ لَكَ}:
(4) Chapter. The Statement of Allah:“And she, in whose house he was, sought to seduce him (to do an evil act). She closed the doors and said, ’Come on, O you.’ He said: ’I seek refuge in Allah (or Allah forbid)’...”(V.12:23)

وقال عكرمة: هيت لك بالحورانية هلم، وقال ابن جبير: تعاله.

حدثني احمد بن سعيد، حدثنا بشر بن عمر، حدثنا شعبة، عن سليمان، عن ابي وائل، عن عبد الله بن مسعود، قال: هيت لك سورة يوسف آية 23، قال: وإنما نقرؤها كما علمناها مثواه سورة يوسف آية 21، مقامه والفيا سورة يوسف آية 25: وجدا، الفوا آباءهم سورة الصافات آية 69: الفينا، وعن ابن مسعود، بل عجبت ويسخرون سورة الصافات آية 12.
Narrated Abu Wail: `Abdullah bin Mas`ud recited "Haita laka (Come you)," and added, "We recite it as we were taught it."

Hadith Number: 4693
حدثنا الحميدي، حدثنا سفيان، عن الاعمش، عن مسلم، عن مسروق، عن عبد الله رضي الله عنه: ان قريشا لما ابطئوا على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالإسلام، قال:" اللهم اكفنيهم بسبع كسبع يوسف"، فاصابتهم سنة حصت كل شيء، حتى اكلوا العظام، حتى جعل الرجل ينظر إلى السماء فيرى بينه وبينها مثل الدخان، قال الله: فارتقب يوم تاتي السماء بدخان مبين سورة الدخان آية 10، قال الله: إنا كاشفو العذاب قليلا إنكم عائدون سورة الدخان آية 15، افيكشف عنهم العذاب يوم القيامة، وقد مضى الدخان، ومضت البطشة؟.
Narrated `Abdullah (bin Mas`ud): When the Prophet realized that the Quraish had delayed in embracing Islam, he said, "O Allah! Protect me against their evil by afflicting them with seven (years of famine) like the seven years of (Prophet) Joseph." So they were struck with a year of famine that destroyed everything till they had to eat bones, and till a man would look towards the sky and see something like smoke between him and it. Allah said:-- "Then watch you (O Muhammad) for the day when the sky will produce a kind of smoke plainly visible." (44.10) And Allah further said:-- "Verily! We shall withdraw the punishment a little, Verily you will return (to disbelief)." (44.15) (Will Allah relieve them from torture on the Day of Resurrection?) (The punishment of) the smoke had passed and Al-Baltsha (the destruction of the pagans in the Badr battle) had passed too.
