باب في النَّهْيِ عَنْ قَتْلِ الْمُعَاهَدِ:
Chapter: Prohibition of Killing Treaty-Bound Non-Muslims
Hadith Number: 2540
اخبرنا عبد الله بن يزيد، حدثنا عيينة بن عبد الرحمن بن جوشن الغطفاني، عن ابيه، عن ابي بكرة: ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من قتل معاهدا في غير كنهه، حرم الله عليه الجنة".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever kills a covenant-holder (dhimmi) without due cause, Allah will make Paradise forbidden for him." (That is, the killer will not enter Paradise.)
