باب قَوْلِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ في الْجَدَّاتِ:
Chapter on Ibn Mas'ud's opinion regarding grandmothers
Hadith Number: 2975
اخبرنا يزيد بن هارون، انبانا الاشعث، عن ابن سيرين، عن ابن مسعود، قال: "إن الجدات ليس لهن ميراث، إنما هي طعمة اطعمنها، والجدات اقربهن وابعدهن سواء".
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: There is no inheritance for grandmothers; this is a gift for them, whether they are close or distant relatives.

Hadith Number: 2976
اخبرنا حجاج بن منهال، انبانا ابو عوانة، عن المغيرة، عن إبراهيم، قال: قال عبد الله: "ترث الجدة وابنها حي".
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: In the presence of the son, the grandmother will inherit.
