It is narrated from Yunus that Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated: If a person helps someone, he is among the Muslims, that is, the Muslims will be his heirs. Sufyan said: We also say the same.

Sayyiduna Tamim ad-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! If a person from among the disbelievers accepts Islam at the hands of a Muslim, what is the ruling regarding him? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“The one who brought him to Islam is closer to him, in both his life and his death.”

It is narrated from Mansur that Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked about mixed people (Ahl al-Sadad) (where Muslims and non-Muslims are mixed), when one of them accepts Islam at the hands of a Muslim? He said: Blood money will be given on his behalf and the one who brought him to Islam will be his heir.
