فضل الذكر
Merits of Dhikr
Hadith Number: 7
من قعد مقعدا لم يذكر اللٰه فيه كانت عليه من اللٰه ترة، ومن اضطجع مضجعا، لا يذكر اللٰه فيه كانت عليه من اللٰه ترة
"Whoever sits in a place and does not remember Allah there, that place will be a cause of loss (anxiety and distress) for him from Allah; and whoever lies down in a place where he does not remember Allah, that place will be a cause of loss (anxiety and distress) for him from Allah." [ حسن، سنن ابي داؤد:4856 وعنده: ”لايذكر“ السنن الكبريٰ للنسائي:237/1]
تخریج الحدیث:
Hadith Number: 8
ما جلس قوم مجلسا لم يذكروا اللٰه فيه، ولم يصلوا على نبيهم، إلا كان عليهم ترة، فإن شاء عذبهم وإن شاء غفر لهم
“A people who sit in a gathering and do not remember Allah there, nor do they send blessings upon their Prophet, then that gathering will be a cause of loss for them. Then if Allah wills, He may punish them, and if He wills, He may forgive them.” [ضعيف، سنن ترمذي:3380] «و الحديث حسن دون قوله: ”فَإِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُمْ وَإِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَله» [انظر الحديث السابق 11]

Hadith Number: 9
ما من قوم يقومون من مجلس لا يذكرون اللٰه فيه، إلا قاموا عن مثل جيفة حمار وكان لهم حسرة
“A people who rise from a gathering in which they did not remember Allah, rise as if from a carcass of a donkey, and that gathering will be a source of regret for them.” [اسناده صحيح، ابوداؤد:4855، مسند احمد:224/2]
