Hadith Number: 159
حدثنا فضيل بن محمد الملطي ، حدثنا موسى بن داود الضبي ، حدثنا زهير بن معاوية ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن ابي صالح ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم:"الإمام ضامن والمؤذن مؤتمن، اللهم ارشد الائمة، واغفر للمؤذنين"، لم يروه عن ابي إسحاق، إلا زهير، تفرد به موسى بن داود
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The imam is responsible and the muezzin is trustworthy. O Allah! Guide the imams and forgive the muezzins."
