Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Attend the Friday (prayer), and sit close to the Imam. A person may be among the people of Paradise, but if he starts staying behind from the Friday prayer, he will also be kept behind from Paradise, even though he is among the people of Paradise.”
