The chapter on delaying Zuhr prayer in intense heat
Hadith Number: 228
حدثنا الحسن بن عمر بن ابي الاحوص الكوفي ، حدثنا احمد بن يونس ، حدثنا ابو بكر بن عياش ، عن عاصم ، عن ابي صالح ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:"إذا اشتد الحر فابردوا بالصلاة، فإن شدة الحر من فيح جهنم"، لم يروه عن عاصم، إلا ابو بكر
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the heat becomes intense, cool the prayer. For indeed, severe heat is from the steam of Hell."
