Validity of obligatory prayer behind one offering voluntary prayer
Hadith Number: 317
حدثنا محمد بن الفضل بن حماد الاصبهاني ، حدثنا حيان بن بشر القاضي ، حدثنا هشيم ، عن منصور بن زاذان ، عن عمرو بن دينار ، عن جابر بن عبد الله الانصاري ، ان معاذ بن جبل ،" كان يصلي مع النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم صلاة العشاء الاخيرة، ثم ياتي قومه فيصلي بهم تلك الصلاة"، لم يروه عن منصور بن زاذان، إلا هشيم
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates: Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) would perform the 'Isha prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then go to his people and lead them in this prayer.
