Description of a capable woman needing her husband’s permission for Hajj
Hadith Number: 444
حدثنا العباس بن محمد المجاشعي الاصبهاني ، حدثنا محمد بن ابي يعقوب الكرماني ، حدثنا حسان بن إبراهيم ، عن إبراهيم الصائغ ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنه، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم،"في امراة لها زوج ولها مال، ولا ياذن لها زوجها في الحج، قال: ليس لها ان تنطلق إلا بإذن زوجها"، لم يروه عن إبراهيم، إلا حسان
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the woman who has a husband and also has wealth, but her husband does not permit her to perform Hajj: "This woman should not go for Hajj without her husband's permission."
