حدثنا عبد الله بن زياد بن خالد الموصلي ، حدثنا مقدم بن محمد الواسطي ، حدثني عمي القاسم بن يحيى ، عن عبيد الله بن عمر ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عبد الرحمن بن عوف ، قال: قال لي النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم حين فرغنا من الطواف بالبيت:"كيف صنعت يا ابا محمد في استلام الركن؟، قلت: استلمت، وتركت، قال: اصبت"، لم يروه عن عبيد الله، إلا القاسم، تفرد به مقدم
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When we finished the circumambulation of the Sacred House (Baytullah), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Abu Muhammad! What did you do regarding kissing the Rukn?" I replied: I kissed it and then left it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You did well."
