Explanation of severe punishment for an unjust ruler
Hadith Number: 751
حدثنا عبيد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن واقد ابو شبل البغدادي ، حدثني ابي ، حدثنا ابو حفص الابار عمر بن عبد الرحمن ، عن محمد بن جحادة ، عن عطية ، عن ابي سعيد الخدري ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم:"اشد الناس عذابا يوم القيامة إمام جائر"، لم يروه عن ابن جحادة، إلا ابو حفص
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the most severe punishment will be for the unjust ruler."
