Description of good deeds benefiting on the Day of Judgment
Hadith Number: 820
حدثنا بشر بن موسى بن شيخ بن عميرة الاسدي ابو علي ، حدثنا منصور بن صقير ، حدثنا موسى بن اعين ، عن عبيد الله بن عمر ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:"إن الرجل ليكون من اهل الصلاة والزكاة والحج والعمرة والجهاد حتى ذكر سهام الخير، وما يجزى يوم القيامة إلا بقدر عقله"، لم يروه عن عبيد الله بن عمر، إلا ابن اعين، تفرد به منصور بن صقير
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man is among those who perform prayer, give zakat, perform Hajj and Umrah, and strive in jihad." When he (peace be upon him) mentioned all parts of goodness, he said: "These things will benefit him on the Day of Resurrection only according to his intellect."
