Description of the superiority of the Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him) over other nations
Hadith Number: 830
حدثنا احمد بن زيد بن هارون المكي ، حدثنا إبراهيم بن المنذر الحزامي ، حدثنا معن بن عيسى القزاز ، حدثنا مالك بن انس ، عن وهب بن كيسان ، عن ابن عمر ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:"إنما اجلكم فيما خلا قبلكم من الامم كما بين صلاة العصر إلى مغرب الشمس"، لم يروه عن مالك، إلا معن تفرد به إبراهيم بن المنذر
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The time allotted to you, compared to the previous nations that have passed, is like the time between the Asr prayer and sunset."
