Description of food glorifying Allah in the Prophet's (peace be upon him) gathering
Hadith Number: 881
حدثنا عبد الله بن بندار الاصبهاني الباطرقاني ، حدثنا إسماعيل بن عمر البجلي ، حدثنا إسرائيل ، عن منصور ، عن إبراهيم ، عن علقمة ، عن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه، قال:"كنا ناكل عند النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم، فنسمع تسبيح الطعام"، لم يروه عن منصور، إلا إسرائيل
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We used to eat food with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the food's glorification (tasbih) would be audible to us.
