Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Whoever commits a sin in this world and is punished for it here, then Allah, the Most Just, will not punish His servant again in the Hereafter. And whoever commits a sin and Allah conceals it for him in this world, covers it up and forgives it, then Allah is too generous to punish again for a sin that has already been forgiven and concealed.”
