Description of the virtue of saying "Masha Allah la quwwata illa billah" upon receiving blessings
Hadith Number: 951
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever Allah bestows any blessing of wealth, family, or children upon, and he says «مَا شَاءَ اللّٰهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ» , then Allah does not send any sudden calamity upon him except death." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: ﴿And why did you, when you entered your garden, not say, 'What Allah has willed [has occurred] ; there is no power except in Allah'?﴾ (Al-Kahf: 39).
