Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a marfu‘ (elevated) manner: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,“Whoever humbles himself for my sake in this way,”(then the Prophet [peace and blessings be upon him] gestured towards the ground with his palm),“I will raise him up in this way,”(and the Prophet [peace and blessings be upon him] gestured towards the sky with the inner part of his palm).
