Causes of the destruction of the Ummah
Hadith Number: 1087
حدثنا احمد بن إبراهيم بن يزداد الطبراني الخطيب ، حدثنا موسى بن ايوب النصيبي ، حدثنا عبد الله بن عصمة النصيبي ، عن بشر بن حكم ، عن إبراهيم بن ابي حرة ، عن سالم ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم:"فناء امتي في الطعن والطاعون، قلنا: قد عرفنا الطعن فما الطاعون؟، قال: وخز اعدائكم من الجن، وفي كل شهادة"، لم يروه عن إبراهيم بن ابي حرة، إلا بشر، ولا عن بشر، إلا عبد الله بن عصمة
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The destruction of my Ummah will be through arrows and plague." We said: O Messenger of Allah! We know what arrows are, but what is plague? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is the attack of your enemy jinn, and in each there is martyrdom."
