Virtue of visiting the sick
Hadith Number: 1134
حدثنا احمد بن الحسن المصري الايلي ، حدثنا ابو عاصم النبيل ، حدثنا مفضل بن لاحق ، عن محمد بن سيرين ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم:"من عاد المريض خاض في الرحمة، فإذا جلس عنده اغتمس فيها"، لم يروه عن مفضل، إلا ابو عاصم
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever visits a sick person enters into the mercy of Allah, and when he sits with him, he is immersed in the mercy of Allah."
