Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that indeed Sa’d bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) sought a verdict from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding a vow that was upon his mother, and she passed away before fulfilling it, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him to fulfill it.
