It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) رضي الله عنه, who reports from the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم that he said: "Indeed, the matter is that soon there will be selfishness, tribulations, and such affairs which you will disapprove of." They said, "O Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم! What do you command for the one who encounters this?" He صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Fulfill the rights that are upon you, and ask Allah for your own rights."
