It is narrated from Hisham bin Urwah that he said: When Ibn Zubair was in Makkah, the companions of the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) used to carry birds in cages.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the house, he saw a child of Abu Talhah who was called Abu Umair. He had a small bird with him with which he used to play. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abu Umair! What happened to the little bird?" or he said: "Where is the little bird?"
