كِتَاب تَفْسِيرِ الْقُرْآنِ
The Book of Commentary
بَابُ قَوْلِهِ: {وَأَمَّا مَنْ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَى}:
Chapter. The Statement of Allah:“But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient.”(V.92:8)
Hadith Number: 4947
حدثنا يحيى، حدثنا وكيع، عن الاعمش، عن سعد بن عبيدة، عن ابي عبد الرحمن، عن علي عليه السلام، قال: كنا جلوسا عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال:" ما منكم من احد إلا وقد كتب مقعده من الجنة، ومقعده من النار"، فقلنا: يا رسول الله، افلا نتكل؟ قال:" لا، اعملوا فكل ميسر، ثم قرا فاما من اعطى واتقى وصدق بالحسنى فسنيسره لليسرى إلى قوله فسنيسره للعسرى سورة الليل آية 5 - 10".
Narrated `Ali: We were in the company of the Prophet and he said, "There is none among you but has his place written for him, either in Paradise or in the Hell-Fire." We said, "O Allah's Messenger! Shall we depend (on this fact and give up work)?" He replied, "No! Carry on doing good deeds, for everybody will find easy (to do) such deeds as will lead him to his destined place." Then the Prophet recited: 'As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah, and believes in the Best reward. We will make smooth for him the path of ease....the path for evil.' (92.5-10)
