باب الشؤم فى الفرس
Chapter on Bad Omen in Horses
Hadith Number: 708
708/917 (صحيح) عن سهل بن سعد، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" إن كان الشؤم في شيء، ففي المراة، والفرس، والمسكن".
708/917 (Sahih) From Sahl ibn Sa'd, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If there is any bad omen in anything, it is in the woman, the horse, and the dwelling."

709/918-(حسن) عن انس بن مالك قال: قال رجل: يا رسول الله! إنا كنا في دار كثر فيها عددنا، وكثر فيها اموالنا؟ فتحولنا إلى دار اخرى، فقل فيها عددنا وقل فيها اموالنا؟ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ردوها، او دعوها، وهي ذميمة". قال ابو عبد الله(1): في إسناده نظر.
709/918-(Hasan) From Anas ibn Malik who said: A man said: O Messenger of Allah! We were in a house where our numbers were many and our wealth was abundant. Then we moved to another house, and our numbers decreased and our wealth decreased. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "Return it, or leave it, for it is blameworthy." Abu Abdullah said: There is some scrutiny regarding its chain of transmission.
