805/1049 (Sahih) From Tariq(1) who said: We were sitting with Abdullah, when his doorkeeper came [فقال] (2) and said: The prayer has been established. So he stood up and we stood with him and entered the mosque. He saw the people bowing in the front of the mosque, so he said the takbir and bowed, and we walked and did as he did(3). A man passed by quickly(4) and said: Peace be upon you, O Abu Abdur Rahman! He said: Allah has spoken the truth, and His Messenger has conveyed (the message). When we finished the prayer, he returned, entered upon his family, and we remained in our place waiting for him to come out. Some of us said to others: Which of you will ask him? Tariq said: I will ask him. So he asked him, and he said: From the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Among the signs before the Hour: greeting only the specific (people), widespread trade until a woman helps her husband in trade, severing of family ties, widespread use of the pen(5), the appearance of false testimony, and concealing the testimony of truth."
