كتاب الصلاة
The Book of Prayer
(كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكَرِّرُ آيَةً وَاحِدَةً طُولَ اللَّيْلِ)
(The Prophet ﷺ used to repeat one verse all night long)
Hadith Number: 1205
1205 - وعن ابي ذر، قال: قام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: حتى اصبح بآية والآية:"إن تعذبهم فإنهم عبادك وإن تغفر لهم فإنك انت العزيز الحكيم"رواه النسائي وابن ماجه.
Abu Dharr said that God’s Messenger kept awake during the night till morning reciting one verse, which was,“If Thou punishest them they are Thy servants; and if Thou forgivest them Thou art the Mighty, the Wise”(Al-Qur’an; 5:118). Nasa’i and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
