(قِرَاءَةُ آيَاتِ الْقُرْآنِ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ سُنَّةٌ)
(Reciting Quranic verses in the sermon is Sunnah)
Hadith Number: 1408
1408 - (وعن يعلى بن امية قال: سمعت النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يقرا على المنبر:"ونادوا يا مالك ليقض علينا ربك"متفق عليه).
Ya'la b. Umayya said he heard the Prophet reciting on the pulpit,“And they will cry:O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us”(Al-Qur’an; 43:77). (Bukhari and Muslim.)
