The Book of Prayer
(ذَبْحُ الْبَقَرَةِ وَالْمَعْزِ وَنَحْرُ الْجَمَلِ مُسْتَحَبٌّ)
(Slaughtering cows, goats, and camels is recommended)
Hadith Number: 1438
1438 - وعن ابن عمر - رضي الله عنهما - قال: كان رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يذبح وينحر بالمصلى. رواه البخاري.
Ibn ‘Umar said that God’s Messenger used to sacrifice and slaughter at the place of prayer. Bukhari transmitted it. Idain, 22, where“the Prophet”occurs in place of“God’s Messenger.”
