(Proof of the obligation of sacrifice)
Hadith Number: 1475
1475 - وعن ابن عمر - رضي الله عنهما - قال: اقام رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - بالمدينة عشر سنين يضحي. رواه الترمذي.
Ibn ‘Umar said that God’s Messenger stayed ten years in Medina, and that he used to observe the sacrifice. Tirmidhi transmitted it.
