The Book of Funerals
(وَضْعُ الْعُودِ عَلَى الْكِتْفِ عِنْدَ حَمْلِ الجُنَازَةِ)
(Placing the wooden plank on the shoulder while carrying the funeral)
Hadith Number: 1671
1671 - وقد روى في شرح السنة: ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حمل جنازة سعد بن معاذ بين العمودين .
In Sharh as-sunna it is reported that the Prophet carried the bier of Sa‘d b. Mu'adh between the two poles.
