The Book of Zakat
(مَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ أَكْلِ الصَّدَقَةِ)
(The Prophet ﷺ was forbidden to eat sadaqah)
Hadith Number: 1821
عن انس قال: مر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الله عليه وسلم بتمرة في الطريق فقال: «لولا اني اخاف ان تكون من الصدقة لاكلتها»
Anas told that the Prophet came upon a date on the road and said,“Were it not that I fear it may be part of the sadaqa I would eat it.”(Bukhari and Muslim.)
