The Book of Sales and Trade
(بَيَانُ لَعْنَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مُتَعَامِلِي السُّودِ)
(Explanation of the Prophet’s curse, peace be upon him, on those dealing in usury)
Hadith Number: 2829
2829 - وعن علي انه سمع رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -"لعن آكل الربا وموكله وكاتبه ومانع الصدقة ، وكان ينهى عن النوح"رواه النسائي.
‘Ali said he heard God’s Messenger curse those who took usury, those who paid it, those who recorded it, and those who refused to give sadaqa; and he used to prohibit wailing. Nasa’i transmitted it.
