The Book of Sales and Trade
(كَيْفِيَّةُ أَخْذِ الهَدِيَّةِ عَلَى القَرْضِ)
(The ruling on taking a gift for a loan)
Hadith Number: 2832
2832 - وعنه عن النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قال:"إذا اقرض الرجل الرجل فلا ياخذ هدية"رواه البخاري في تاريخه، هكذا في المنتقى.
He reported the Prophet as saying, "When a man makes a loan to another he must not accept a present." Bukhari transmitted it in his Ta’rikh, as is said in al-Muntaqa.
