(بَيَانُ دِيَةِ القَتْلِ العَمْدِ وَالقَتْلِ شِبْهِ العَمْدِ)
(Statement on the blood money for intentional killing and quasi-intentional killing)
Hadith Number: 3501
3501 - وعنه، عن ابيه عن جده، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: عقل شبه العمد مغلظ مثل عقل العمد ولا يقتل صاحبه). رواه ابو داود.
He said, on his father’s authority, that his grandfather reported the Prophet as saying,“Blood wit for what resembles intentional murder is to be made as severe as that for intentional murder, but the Culprit is not to be killed.”Abu Dawud transmitted it.
