(بَيَانُ كَيِّ يَدِ السَّارِقِ بَعْدَ قَطْعِهَا)
(Explanation of branding the thief’s hand after cutting it)
Hadith Number: 3604
3604 - وروي في شرح السنة في قطع السارق عن النبي صلى الله وعليه وسلم: اقطعوه ثم احسموه.
In Sharh as-sunna the Prophet is reported as saying regarding the maiming of a thief, "Maim him, then cauterise him."
