(On the turban)
Hadith Number: 4338
4338 - وعن ابن عمر - رضي الله عنهما - قال: كان رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - إذا اعتم سدل عمامته بين كتفيه. رواه الترمذي، وقال: هذا حديث حسن غريب. [ ص: 2777 ]
Ibn ‘Umar told that when God’s messenger put on a turban he let the end hang between his shoulders. Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a hasan gharib tradition.
