It is narrated from Abu Mas’ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), that either he said to Abu Abdullah or Abu Abdullah said to Abu Mas’ud: What have you heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say about the word“za’amu”(they claim)? He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:“It is bad for a man to speak in such a manner.”Abu Dawood, and he said: By Abu Abdullah is meant Hudhaifah.
