The Book of Manners
(الصَّابِرُ عَلَى التَّعَبِ أَفْضَلُ مُؤْمِنٍ)
(The one who is patient in hardship is a better believer)
Hadith Number: 5087
5087 - وعن ابن عمر - رضي الله عنهما - عن النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قال:"المسلم الذي يخالط الناس ويصبر على اذاهم افضل من الذي لا يخالطهم ولا يصبر على اذاهم". رواه الترمذي، وابن ماجه.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he said: "A Muslim who mixes with people and is patient over their harm is better than the one who does not mix with people and is not patient over their harm." Sahih, narrated by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.
