The Book of Heart-Softeners
(لَا عُذْرَ لِمَنْ بَلَغَ سِتِّينَ سَنَةً)
(No excuse for one who reaches sixty years)
Hadith Number: 5272
5272 - وعنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:"اعذر الله إلى امرئ اخر اجله حتى بلغه ستين سنة". رواه البخاري.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah has removed the excuse of the person whose life He prolonged until He let him reach sixty years of age (for not repenting and not doing good deeds)." Narrated by al-Bukhari.
