The Book of Heart-Softeners
(نُبُوءَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الزَّمَنِ القَادِمِ)
(The prophecy of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, about the coming time)
Hadith Number: 5367
5367 - وعن انس - رضي الله عنه - قال: قال رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -:"ياتي على الناس زمان، الصابر فيهم على دينه كالقابض على الجمر"رواه الترمذي، وقال: هذا حديث غريب إسنادا.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A time will come upon the people when the one who remains steadfast on his religion will be like one who holds a burning ember in his hand." (Tirmidhi), and he said: The chain of this hadith is gharib. Its chain is weak. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
