The Book of Tribulations
(أَوَّلُ عَلَامَةٍ لِلْقِيَامَةِ شُرُوقُ الشَّمْسِ مِنَ المَغْرِبِ أَوْ دَابَّةُ الأَرْضِ)
(The first sign of the Day of Judgment is the sun rising from the west or the Beast of the Earth)
Hadith Number: 5466
5466 - وعن عبد الله بن عمرو - رضي الله عنهما - قال: سمعت رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يقول:"إن اول الآيات خروجا طلوع الشمس من مغربها ، وخروج الدابة على الناس ضحى، وايهما ما كانت قبل صاحبتها ; فالاخرى على اثرها قريبا". رواه مسلم.
`Abdallah b. `Amr told that he heard God's messenger say, "The first of the signs to appear will be the rising of the sun in its place of setting and the coming forth of the beast against mankind in the forenoon. Whichever of them comes first will soon be followed by the other." Muslim transmitted it.
