كتاب أحوال القيامة وبدء الخلق
The Book of the Conditions of the Day of Resurrection and the Beginning of Creation
(يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ يُعْرَضُ النَّاسُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فِي مَحْكَمَةِ اللَّهِ)
(On the Day of Judgment, people will be presented three times in Allah’s court)
Hadith Number: 5557
5557 - وعن الحسن عن ابي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قال: قال رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم:"يعرض الناس يوم القيامة ثلاث عرضات : فاما عرضتان فجدال ومعاذير، واما العرضة الثالثة فعند ذلك تطير الصحف في الايدي، فآخذ بيمينه، وآخذ بشماله". رواه احمد، والترمذي وقال: لا يصح هذا الحديث من قبل ان الحسن لم يسمع من ابي هريرة.
Al-Hasan quoted Abu Huraira who reported God's messenger as saying, "On the day of resurrection mankind will be reviewed three times, the first two consisting of disputing and excuses, but at the third the records of men's deeds will go quickly into their hands, some getting them in their right hands and some in their left." Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it, but Tirmidhi said this tradition is not sound, as al-Hasan did not hear anything from Abu Huraira.
