(تَنَبُّؤٌ عَنْ قُرَيْشٍ مَكَّةَ فِي غَزْوَةِ الخَنْدَقِ)
(A prophecy about the Quraysh of Mecca during the Battle of the Trench)
Hadith Number: 5879
وعن سليمان بن صرد قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حين اجلى الاحزاب عنه: «الآن نغزوهم ولا يغزونا نحن نسير إليهم» . رواه البخاري
Sulaiman b. Surad reported the Prophet as saying when the Confederates [*] were removed from him, "Now we shall raid them and they will not raid us; we shall go to them." *Those who fought against the Muslims at the battle of the Trench (cf. Quran. 82:9 ff). Bukhari transmitted it.
