The Book of Merits
(بَابُ أَمْرِ إِغْلَاقِ جَمِيعِ الأَبْوَابِ سِوَى بَابِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ)
(Chapter on the command to close all doors except the door of Ali, may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 6105
6105 - وعن ابن عباس - رضي الله عنهما - ان رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - امر بسد الابواب إلا باب علي . رواه الترمذي، وقال: هذا حديث غريب.
Ibn `Abbas told that God's messenger ordered all the doors [opening on the mosque] to be shut except `Ali's. Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a gharib tradition.
