The Book of Merits
(اهْتِزَازُ العَرْشِ عِنْدَ وَفَاةِ حَضْرَةِ سَعْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ)
(The trembling of the Throne at the death of Hazrat Sa’d, may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 6206
6206 - وعن جابر - رضي الله عنه - قال: سمعت النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يقول:"اهتز العرش لموت سعد بن معاذ". وفي رواية:"اهتز عرش الرحمن لموت سعد بن معاذ". متفق عليه.
Jabir told that he heard the Prophet say, "The Throne shook on account of the death of Sa`d b. Mu'adh." In a version he said, "The Throne of the Compassionate One shook on account of the death of Sa'd b. Mu'adh." (Bukhari and Muslim.)
