The Book of Merits
(إِرْسَالُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَلَامَهُ إِلَى قَوْمِ حَضْرَةِ طَلْحَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ)
(The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, sending his greetings to the tribe of Hazrat Talha, may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 6251
وعن انس وابي طلحة قال: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «اقرئ قومك السلام فإنهم ما علمت اعفة صبر» . رواه الترمذي
Anas quoted Abu Talha as telling that God's messenger said to him, "Give your people a greeting, for they, so far as I know, are abstemious and show endurance." Tirmidhi transmitted it.
