مسنَد اَهلِ البَیتِ رِضوَان اللَّهِ عَلَیهِم اَجمَعِینَ
Musnad of Ahl al-Bayt
حَدِیث عَقِیلِ بنِ اَبِی طَالِب رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Hadith of Aqil ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 1738
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا الحكم بن نافع ، حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش ، عن سالم بن عبد الله ، عن عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل ، قال: تزوج عقيل بن ابي طالب ، فخرج علينا، فقلنا بالرفاء والبنين، فقال: مه , لا تقولوا ذلك , فإن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قد نهانا عن ذلك، وقال قولوا:" بارك الله لها فيك وبارك لك فيها".
Abdullah bin Muhammad says that when Sayyiduna Aqeel (may Allah be pleased with him) got married and he came to us, we congratulated him saying: May Allah create harmony between you and grant you sons. He replied: Wait, do not say this. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from this and instructed us to say: «بَارَكَ اللّٰهُ لَهَا فِيكَ وَبَارَكَ لَكَ فِيهَا» "May Allah bless you and make you blessed for your wife."
تخریج الحدیث:
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لانقطاعه، فإن عبدالله بن محمد بن عقيل لم يدرك جده.
Hadith Number: 1739
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا إسماعيل وهو ابن علية ، انبانا يونس ، عن الحسن ، ان عقيل بن ابي طالب رضي الله عنه , تزوج امراة من بني جشم، فدخل عليه القوم، فقالوا: بالرفاء والبنين، فقال: لا تفعلوا ذلك، قالوا: فما نقول يا ابا يزيد؟ قال: قولوا" بارك الله لكم وبارك عليكم إنا كذلك كنا نؤمر".
Abdullah bin Muhammad says that when Sayyiduna Aqeel (may Allah be pleased with him) got married and came to us, we said to him: May Allah create harmony between you and grant you sons. He replied: Wait! Do not say this. We asked him: O Abu Yazid! Then what should we say? He said: Say this: May Allah bless you and make you blessed for your wife. This is what we have been commanded to say.
تخریج الحدیث:
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، الحسن البصري لم يسمع من عقيل.
